How to type the cent character ¢ on your computer

TLDR: Option-4 will type the ¢ character

Sometimes you want to give your two cents. But you want the cents character. You know, ¢ this one.

On a Mac you can hold ‘Opt’ then 4.

Shift-4 is how you type the dollar sign aka $.

So it makes sense that Option-4 is how you type the cent sign aka ¢.

Because the cent character is another option to the dollar character.
