Packing for a trip doesn’t have to be stressful. I’m going to give you 4 secrets to make packing for travel easy, fast, and stress free.

Rule #1 — Use a Checklist

Write down everything you need to bring and then check it off as you pack it.

Seems simple, but often the best secrets are. :) So many people try to rely on their memory. Don’t.

Take a sheet of paper, and write down everything you want to pack. Once it’s actually out in your bag, check it off the list.

A few extra tips.

For things that you need to use until the last minute like computers or medicine or contacts don’t check them off the list until it is actually in your bag. That means wake up, pack your contact case, then check it off the list. Nothing worse than having your glasses set out to take, but already checked off your list and forgotten.

Make your list digitally, then print it off. Digital means you can recreate it and edit it easily. Printed off means it can sit right next to your suitcase as you are packing.

Rule #2 — You can probably just buy or borrow something you forget.
