Food Review — Naked Chicken Chalupa

I can’t remember the last time I went to Taco Bell, but this surprised me

One of my friends made a bold claim on Facebook.

I had to see if the Naked Chicken Chalupa really was the pinnacle of fast food items.

I sincerely doubted it. I can’t remember the last time I wanted some combo of meat, beans, and veggies arranged in differently named dishes.

But I trust Ryan, so I drove down to my local Taco Bell and ordered one.

It is deep fried chicken, wrapped around lettuce, tomato, and cheese. The sauce is a tangy Ranch.

It is surprisingly good. The taste is good. The texture is great. The sauce adds a lot. It would be very dry without it.

I was very surprised but I would get this again. If I was out late, and needed something quick, and someone suggested Taco Bell, I wouldn’t say no to this.

Surprised at how good this was.

Is it the best fast food item around? No. That honor still goes to the Chick-fil-a Combo. But the Naked Chicken Chalupa was pleasantly surprising.

Final score: 8/10 would Chicken Chalupa again.
